Mid-Atlantic Severe Situation Exercise (MASSE)


NOTE: Only Law Enforcement spots available for the May 7, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The Cooper University Health Care Section of Military, Diplomatic, and Field Surgical Affairs (MILDAF) is proud to train local emergency responders (Police and EMS) state and federal learners and Special Operations Medics and Providers. This training involves multi-facetted life sustainment training utilizing most current best practices and lessons learned to enable them to save the lives of their civilians and fellow responders in today’s world.

In the Mid-Atlantic Severe Situation Exercise, the Cooper MILDAF team will conduct Point Of Injury Training for Emergency Responders utilizing Cadavers in a simulated real world setting with highly experienced and / or educated instructors. Training available (depending on skill level): Tourniquets, Wound Packing, Oral Airway, ET intubation, Chest Tube, Cricothyrotomy, Needle Thoracentesis, Chest tube, IO access, sutures.
