Sunday, June 7, marks National Cancer Survivors Day – a time to honor and celebrate all those who have been touched by cancer.
In recognition, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper is hosting a week of activities and events from June 1 to June 5 designed to support wellness, healing, education, and connection.
This year’s theme is: Hope, Strength, and Determination: Thriving in Survivorship

5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Presentation
Join men’s health advocate Louis Bezich for a discussion on building healthy habits after cancer treatment. Drawing on lived experience and evidence-based science, he will explore how relationships, routines, physical activity, nutrition, and motivation can support long-term health, resilience, and overall well-being.

About the Presenter
Louis Bezich is a men’s health advocate, author, and speaker with a passion for wellness and healthy aging. Drawing from personal experience and evidence-based science, he encourages men to build healthier, more sustainable lifestyles through motivation, relationships, nutrition, and physical activity. Bezich is the author of two books focused on healthy living for men over 50 and is a regular podcast and media guest discussing men’s health and wellness.
